𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 is the son of Jamaican musician and producer 𝐋𝐞𝐞 “𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡” 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲, considered THE precursor of dub.
When he passed away in 2021, Scratch was recording an album with 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫. So it was only natural that, as a tribute to him, the son and the band got together and began writing and composing, resulting in a beautiful album, 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙚𝙚 “𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝” 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮, with a distinctly dub sound and Omar’s own touch of roots.
On stage, Omar Perry and the musicians of Easy Riddim Maker will play a mix of tracks from LSP’s posthumous album and tracks recently composed in his memory.
