On our return, we will visit Sarehole Mill, the beautiful grounds and café, one of the places famous author J.R.R Tolkien spent lots of time a child and sited as inspiration for his writings, including ‘The Hobbit’ and’ Lord of the Rings’. There will be an opportunity to buy refreshments and enjoy the surroundings over coffee and cake.

The route will be approx. 2 miles round trip. Starting/finishing at Sarehole Mill. This will be a relaxed social walk suitable for all the family. Please remember to bring a drink, dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

All participants will receive a FREE illustrated '69wards by Bike or Foot' map
