LED ECSTATIC DANCE SOUTHEND

Upon arrival you will be welcomed and smudged as you enter the garden. Headphones and optional blindfolds are donned ready for the cacao and micro ceremony. Charmaine then guides you into an embodiemnt warm up before really getting the energy building by beginning the kundalini shake.

The 3rd stage is the let go. During this time the dancers boogie, strutt and whoop their ways into ecsttaic awaekning and euphoric bliss. The music is baseline heavy, entheogenic, tribal and switches in tempo to allow you to really explore your inner and outter landscapes and soundscapes.

After the let go, the music reduces in tempo until we come to the lay down and time to integrate.

Mid way through the event we have a food share and all eat like little pirates - dancing and healing is hungry work!

Afetr food share, 3 DJ's go back to back on 3 channels on the silent disco as we dance our way into nightfall.

There are 2 indoor spaces and 1 large outdoor space. Come rain or shine, we keep dancing!

At the end of the event, you are taken on a grounding meditation to fully anchor yourslef back to pachamama.

Charmaine Davis is a fully trained ecstatic dance facilitator, fully initiated shamanic practitioner and qualified therapist. LED is an alcohol and drug free zone. This is a sober event.

Charmaine will lead us through the five stages of LED ecstatic awaken dance, which will include the kundalini shake to facilitate a bigger release and let go. Using movement, music, and breath to ignite our life force to reach natural states of ecstasy.

The process begins with grounding, where participants connect with the earth beneath them, feeling its stability and support. This stage is essential for creating a safe and secure environment, allowing dancers to fully immerse in the experience.

Next comes the activation phase, the Kundalini shake is used here as a powerful tool for releasing pent-up energy and emotions, promoting a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness. This spontaneous, rhythmic movement allows dancers to connect more deeply with their bodies, freeing themselves from mental constraints and experiencing a sense of liberation and joy. By shaking, participants can stimulate the flow of Kundalini energy, which is believed to reside at the base of the spine, encouraging it to rise through the chakras and facilitate emotional and spiritual healing. This practice not only enhances physical vitality but also fosters a profound sense of connection to oneself and the surrounding environment, creating a space for personal transformation and spiritual awakening.In the third stage, the peak, dancers reach a state of ecstatic expression. Here, the kundalini energy is fully awakened, and participants move freely, guided by their inner impulses. This is a moment of liberation, where inhibitions dissolve, and pure, unfiltered joy takes over.

The fourth stage is the release, where all pent-up emotions, stress, and tension are let go. The movements become more fluid and spontaneous, allowing for a deep cleanse of the mind, body, and spirit. This cathartic process is often accompanied by a profound sense of relief and renewal.Finally, the integration stage allows dancers to gradually wind down, coming back to a state of calm and reflection. Gentle, soothing music supports this transition, helping participants to absorb the benefits of the practice. This stage is crucial for grounding the experience and preparing to re-enter the world with a renewed sense of clarity and peace.Ecstatic dance is more than just a physical activity; it's a profound practice that can lead to personal growth, emotional release, and a deeper sense of community.
