Join us for a rhythmic evening with Prof. Delvyn Case as he takes us on a journey through the origins of rock’n’roll. In the mid-1950s, this electrifying genre exploded onto the world stage, echoing the profound social transformations of the post-war period. Through a unique fusion of blues, gospel, country, and pop, rock’n’roll laid the foundation for a new era in music history.

Delvyn Case teaches music history, songwriting, and composition at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. With 25 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to helping students of all ages listen to, understand, and appreciate both popular and classical music. His compositions have been performed by over 100 orchestras, including the Boston Pops, and his students have received multiple Grammy nominations.
