Why are people attracted to conspiracy theories? What's new about conspiracy theory in the 21st century? Is there anything we can do to fight them? In this talk, Professor Peabody will explore these questions and their growing prevalence in modern society.
Professor Peabody is an editor and contributor to several books, including Short Stories and Political Philosophy and Where Have All the Heroes Gone. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Before joining FDU, he worked as an arms control lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
