Silverman will explore aromatic structures, synthetic innovation, and olfactory perception, revealing the scientific and artistic processes behind the creation of perfumes and scents.

Dr. Silverman is an Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, teaching courses on cosmetic chemistry. His research focuses on developing consumer products from waste materials, including transforming farm waste into synthetic vanilla. Currently, he is working on creating scratch-and-sniff stickers to provide a multi-dimensional experience for his students and audiences.
