Join Victoria, a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education and researcher on Black college student resistance, for an interactive lecture focused on Black student activism in college. Black resistance movements discussed will include the Civil Rights movement of the 1950’s and 60’s, the Black Power movement of the 1970’s and 80’s, the contemporary Black Lives Matter movement, as well as labor and anti-war movements lead by Black student activists.
