Lecture – Using Buddhist Methods to Transform Disturbing Emotions and Obstacles on the Way, with Michael Koenen
Sunday 9 June – 11:00am
Buddhist Teacher Michael Konen, student of Lama Ole Nydahl, will give a lecture on using Buddhist methods to transform disturbing emotions and obstacles, at the Perth Diamond Way Centre.
From the basic emotions of attachment and aversion arise many other sources of disturbance and suffering. Through Diamond Way Buddhist meditation methods, these disturbances can be transformed into limitless and spontaneous wisdom, joy, fearlessness and active compassion.
Buddhism's most profound teachings say that even behind our most disturbing thoughts and feelings is enlightened wisdom.
As our disturbing feelings dissolve, we are able to experience the true nature of mind more and more: a state of space and bliss inseparable.
The lecture starts at 7:30pm. Please join us to find out more, ask any questions that you have, and take part in a guided meditation.
Cost - $15
