When the suffragettes/suffragists are mentioned, people often think of the Pankhursts and activity that took part in London. But people in Scotland were just as involved in demanding the vote, both through peaceful means and militant ways. Join historian Ruth Boreham to hear about the different societies that organised themselves from 1867 onwards, the different methods and women involved, and also those who campaigned to make sure women didn't get the vote (including the woman who became Scotland's first female MP!)
