Join us for our Panel Discussion series, focusing on community engagement, outreach, and partnership. This series aims to amplify the voices of community-forward initiatives, educating and inspiring others to actively participate. In this session, DAART will lead a panel of community organizers as they share insights into what community means, how to better serve and support others in your community, and answer any questions you may have about community organizations and their purpose.
The Dallas Asian American Art Club (DAAART Club) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating in Dallas, TX. With the aim of fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive community, DAAART's aim is to counter the narrative of who and what is defined as Asian by the American mainstream and build shared narratives of their own. Through celebration of multi-disciplinary art making such as visual, performance, literary, or any other unimagined category, DAAART Club serves to uplift creativity in all forms through implementation of creativity as a form of unity and community building. DAAART Club believes, "We are stronger together. We want to create in community, not a vacuum. We seek to provide inspiration, constructive criticism, and feedback to one another. We share opportunities, skills, and networks with one another."
