To complement the Museum’s nineteenth-century collections, the McMullen welcomes Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and affiliate scholar at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute Harmon Siegel.
Harmon Siegel is a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. His writing has appeared in publications such as the Art Bulletin, Artforum, and American Art. Siegel has authored the critically acclaimed Painting with Monet (2024) investigates how modern paradigms of artistic selfhood struggle to reconcile an ideal of singular individuality with the reality of social interdependence.
