Artist Alphonse Mucha and actress Sarah Bernhardt transformed the streets of Paris into a stage through a six-year creative partnership. This collaboration utilized Art Nouveau posters to elevate Bernhardt to global stardom while fundamentally changing how theaters reached the public. Raphaël Chatroux leads a discussion on how these iconic works brought art into daily Parisian life and blurred the boundaries between fine art and advertising. These images effectively turned city walls into an early form of modern street art and defined the character of public space at the dawn of the 20th century.Schedule
