Open Drift at Lebanon Valley Dragway!This event is open to all levels of drivers from beginner to expert. Spectators are welcome. LVD concession stand will be open for food and drinks. Come support the sport!
Schedule:
2:00 - Gates Open
2:30 - Drivers Meeting
3:00 - 8:00 Open Drift
*If run groups are needed we will assign them at the drivers meeting. Run group schedule will be posted on the white board at the event
**If you miss the drivers meeting come see us before lining up on grid
-Spectators are $15 paid at the gate ( MUST HAVE HELMET, LONG PANTS, AND SHORT SLEEVE/ LONG SLEEVE SHIRT TO RIDE ALONG. MUST BE 16 YEARS OLD TO RIDE ALONG )
-CHILDREN (6-12) $2
-DRIVERS- $80.00 paid ONLY at the gate ( MUST HAVE LONG PANTS, SHORT SLEEVE/ LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, AND DOT HELMET)
-NO GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING AND DRIFTING. Garbage must be put into trash barrels. Respect the track!
Tech Information:
-DOT Helmet
-Must at a minimum wear long pants, short sleeve shirt, closed toe shoes
-No leaking fluids
-Must have driver seat belt/Harness installed and fastened correctly
-Must have passenger seat belt/Harness installed and fastened correctly for ride-alongs
-Battery tied down with a metal bracket or in stock location with stock hardware
-No loose wheel bearings or suspension components
-No broken wheel studs or missing lug nuts
- No Cracks in the windshield in front of drivers or passengers
-Tow hook installed and visible
- Fire Extinguisher with metal mounting bracket is recommended
- Convertibles must have a roll bar
- No full size trucks or SUVs
RULES FOR ANYONE IN THE CAR:
Drivers are responsible for anyone in the car. If the rules are not being followed you will be done drifting for the day without a refund of money. Only 2 people are allowed in the car on track. Everyone in the car must have a helmet on and strapped correctly. Everyone in the car must have long pants and short sleeved/ long sleeved shirt on. All body parts must remain in the car at all times. If you use a camera stick out the window it must be only 12 inches out the window. Seat belts/harnesses must be fastened correctly.
