HORROR VACUI (IT):
...are a 5 piece post-punk/death-rock band based in Bologna, Italy.
Formed in 2011, the band arose within the first revival of punk tainted post punk, and committed active role in the DIY punk and underground scene.
HORROR VACUI blends the early ‘80s goth tradition with post punk in a very peculiar way, including horror elements as outer soundscape.
The band name itself recalls the abundance of tight guitar riffs lead songs, with catchy vocal tunes and melancholic singalong melodies that eventually turned into modern goth anthems as for “In Darkness You Will Feel Alright”, a classic that is passing the test of time despite being quite different from the band most recent releases.
For fans of Corpus Delicti, Sisters Of Mercy, Christian Death, Killing Joke, but the band’s wide music production is a journey in the research of a personal dimension.
The punk attitude is not only a stage evidence but is present in the band lyrics (exploring the dark sides of life and society as well as deepest inner self introspections) but also in their political views and life attitude.
