Leaving Irene is a Boston-based rock band blending raw storytelling with nostalgic rock melodies, drawing from influences like Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, and U2. Formed by cousins Rocco and Jake DeRosa, the band creates music that mirrors the emotional connection with their audience, combining Rocco’s expressive vocals with Jake’s intricate guitar work. Their debut EP, Basement Springs, was shaped by industry veterans Brian Scheuble (Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews) and Dave Collins (Bruce Springsteen, Third Eye Blind), bringing a polished yet raw sound. Featuring standout tracks like “My Old Radio” and “Winter,” Leaving Irene’s live shows are an unforgettable experience for fans of both classic rock and indie pop. Leaving Irene was a recent New England Music Award nominee and featured on the “Best of 2024” by Boston Emissons and Music Savage.
Foxglove is a 5-piece indie folk/soul band from southern Maine, led by singer/songwriter Laura Fox, who writes about love, the lack thereof, and the in-between.
Her songs and her voice are soothing and soulful-if you've ever loved someone, you'll surely connect with her heartfelt lyrics.
