About this Event
Join us to maximise what you can get out of the the Leaving Cert Music Papers in June 2024. This event will be hosted by Vivienne Conway, an experienced music teacher, musician, speaker, and author of the book 'Less Stress, More Success Leaving Certificate Music Revision'. She will focus on the following:
- Melody and Harmony: how you achieve optimum marks.
- Set Works and Question 6: 10 points to a better outcome in the Set Works and Question 6.
- Strenghtening your answers: what we can expect from the marking scheme
- Irish music and the essay: what does excellent awarenesss and a detailed knowledge and understanding of musical features look like in an essay?
This workshop will compliment and support all of the hard work done by you and your music teachers over the past 2 years. There will be an extra 30 mins Q and A session after the workshop.
You will leave with a complimentary study pack containing
- Revision notes on the set works
- Sample Irish essays
- Sample melody answers
- Sample harmony answers
- Revision templates.
Music teachers who recommend students to attend this workshop will recieve a complimentary composition resource pack which will include worksheets and sample answers on Q1 and Q5 of the composition paper.
