Decomposition is an essential ecological process in a healthy ecosystem but is given little attention. Laura Markson, founder of Nurture Native Nature and steward of an intown rewilded yard, will explore how decomposition supports biodiversity. She will weave a story about insects, birds and other wildlife and the importance of decomposition to their survival. You will leave this talk with a new way of looking at decaying matter in your yard and be inspired to make at least one change to support our local wildlife! FREE! All are welcome.
