About the program:
Leave No Trace training makes our communities and outdoor spaces healthier. Practicing Leave No Trace is something we can all do when we interact with nature and a skill we can pass down to the next generation.
This program will include inside classroom and outdoor activities while introducing partipants to outdoor ethics, the founding 7 principles of Leave No Trace, and and best recreation practices for traveling and camping in natural areas.

As more people visit parks, trails, and public lands, the pressure on our natural spaces grows. Leave No Trace works to ensure that everyone—no matter where they explore—has the knowledge and tools to enjoy nature while minimizing their impact.

Ticket Info: Each ticket admits 1 person. This workshop is open to all ages, but minors must remain accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Anyone coming on site must reserve a ticket for themselves.
Location: This program will take place indoors and at the Greenbelt Nature Center. Please wear winter appropriate clothing for hiking up to 2 miles outside, along with bringing water and snacks.
Space is very limited. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
