Sunday dance at LaCrosse Concordia with live band.Live band, dancing, food, and beverages are at Concordia. Voted Best Dance Floor. $10 at the door. Public is welcome. Polka, waltz, swing, fox trot and other dances are popular.
Non-dancers can enjoy the music, dancers and the lovely atmosphere of this wonderful historic building. Many single people attend the dances therefore partners are not required.
Steve Brueggen of Westby and his sister Mary Beth of Cashton have been performing on stage for the past 50 years. They were only 15 and 12 when their parents Charles and Theresa Brueggen formed the band Chuck and the Woodchucks. Mom and Dad have long ago retired, but with the addition of sister Jean Geier and brother Pat Brueggen, the band plays on as Leather 'N Lace! With their various instruments - accordion, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar, and drums, the group plays a mixture of traditional old-time polkas, waltzes and foxtrots. You'll also hear country and music from the 1950s & '60s. It is easy to see that they enjoy performing for their fans, so don't miss dancing to your favorite tunes by this dynamic group.
