Students will use various techniques and types of leather to integrate with their own clay pieces. Techniques to be taught can include colorizing leather and accents, using a pyrography tool on leather, decorating clay pots/mugs/bowls with leather accents, wrinkled leather technique, marbled leather coloring technique, and more.
Students are asked to bring several pieces that they have made, and Tom will guide them on ways leather can be used to adorn them. As a bonus students can also make a leather shoulder bag.
All leathers, tools, materials and instructions are included.
