Learning From Great Gardens: Incyte Green Roof5:30-6:30p.m. Tour

Please join us as we visit one of the most exceptional corporate green roof gardens in our region. We will have private access to this expansive green roof and recreational area used by Incyte employees. There is a pickle ball court, seating areas for lunch and garden beds to grow food. The multi-tiered garden grows an impressive array of native shrubs, trees and perennials.
At Incyte, being a good neighbor is a top priority. To clearly show the surrounding community its commitment to protecting people and the environment, the rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company turned to Green Globes® certification. Incyte’s U.S. headquarters in Wilmington became the first project to be certified in the Existing Buildings 2021 pilot program. The four-story, 275,500- square-foot combined office and parking structure earned Three Green Globes. We will learn more about what Incyte has done to receive this award, from water conservation, recycling and their green wall, to healthy foods on-site, access to nature and treadmill desks. DCH has also partnered with Incyte on tree plantings with their employees . Join us after the tour at DCH for refreshments.
