About this Event
Learning and Thinking That Make a Difference
Join us for an invigorating day of learning coordinated and co-hosted by Project Zero at Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Northgate School District. The morning plenary speaker is PZ’s Mark Church, a consultant at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and co-author of the book Making Thinking Visible: How to Promote Engagement, Understanding, and Independence for All Learners and The Power of Making Thinking Visible: Practices to Engage and Empower All Learners.
There are many workshop sessions led by experienced practitioners who use PZ ideas in their teaching and learning contexts. After the plenary, you will participate in a morning workshop, have lunch, participate in an afternoon workshop, and attend a brief closing session (ending at 3:30 pm). The conference is sure to help make connections between your own teaching practice and the practice of others that seek the continuous pursuit of building a deep learning culture with and for their students, teachers, and community. So, whether you're a classroom teacher, administrator, out-of-school educator, or simply curious about education, join us for an invigorating day together.
