LEARNAI: "Building Practical Business Use Cases with AI" 14 Nov

This session will explore common business use cases within sectors such as Maritime, Legal, Insurance, and Finance, among others, breaking down the software, components, and models that have been used to address these industry-specific challenges. Attendees will learn how to apply cutting-edge AI technologies to create solutions that drive real business impact.

Designed for advanced learners, the session will cover the use of Vector Embedding, Retrieval Augmented Generation, In-Context Learning, Async LLM Streaming, and Agents & Frameworks. These technologies will be demonstrated through ODBC, email connectors, web search, and API endpoints, all within a Python Framework. The goal is to provide a practical understanding of how to deliver internal applications that boost business productivity.

The session will also address how to work with both structured and unstructured data and highlight the importance of data annotation in developing effective AI models.

💡 Previous attendance at “How to Deploy AI in SMB and Enterprise Businesses” is beneficial but not required. This session builds on the foundational AI deployment strategies discussed there and extends into practical applications.

From the early days of AI and the internet with ITGold, through leading Cloud Computing Services with Synapse 360, to his current role as Director of AI/ML at Viking Office Systems, Arron brings a wealth of experience in real-world deployment of AI/ML solutions.

The course covers strategies for deployment of transformer edge based LLM technology into common enterprise/SMB self hosted and cloud hosted environments. We’ll talk about Authentication, Security, Firewalling, platform and the components required to deliver cutting edge AI/ML solutions to a modern business. Aimed at a technical audience (CTO’s, system/network admins, and cloud deployment specialists) we cover off what works and what doesn’t and to live deploy inference at scale to deliver business value in secure business context.
