Learn to Square Dance with the Wesburn Wranglers! Fun for the whole family!

Are you looking to get some exercise, dance to great music, and make new friends? Look no farther than Square Dancing with the Wesburn Wranglers!
Under the guidance of one of Canada's most beloved Square Dance instructors, Ray Brendzy, you'll learn the basics of Square Dancing from the very beginning. Our first classes will teach you the most fundamental moves, and each week, we'll add more moves to your repertoire until you learn the entire curriculum of Social Square Dance (SSD). By May, you'll be able to dance anywhere in the world with what you've learned and participate in the wider square dance community!
Our beginner session takes place from 3-4:30pm with intermediate dancing for our experienced dancers from 4:30-5:30.
You don't need to have any dance experience to be able to thrive at Square Dancing, and you don't need a partner or to dress up at all. All you need to do is show up ready to have a great time!
This club is youth- and family-oriented, but all ages are welcome to come out and participate. For our younger dancers, you'll be presented with the opportunity to train for and participate in Competitive Square Dancing through the annual Pacific Northwest Teen Square Dance Festival, which takes place in May!
Square Dancing is affordable fun for the whole family in an inclusive, community-oriented setting. Come give it a shot, you'll be sure to fall in love with it!
Lessons start on January 12, at 3pm at the Wesburn Community Centre. For new dancers, your September lessons are free!
