Introduction to the Textile Lab and Sewing
Always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine?
Skills You’ll Learn:
- Threading and setting up a sewing machine and bobbin
- Sewing Machine Operation and Problem-Solving
- Use of sewing tools (shears, seam ripper, tailor’s chalk)
- Marking, pinning, and sewing seams
Class Cost: $55 (materials fee included)
Instructor: Catherine Lochtefeld-Sirianni, The Fashion Design Workshop
Class Size: Min 4/ Max 8
This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of the status of class the Monday prior to the first session. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund.
Ages: 16+
