This full-day workshop is designed for beginners who want to explore the world of sewing without committing to a long-term course. You’ll learn from an experienced sewing expert and leave with a beautiful handmade top you can proudly call your own.
In this in-depth workshop you will learn:
- How to use a sewing machine
- What the seam guide is and how to use it
- How to backstitch and sew a curve
- The basics of reading a pattern
- A variety of sewing techniques
You’ll then use these skills to make your very own flattering top!
I’ll show you:
- what order to sew up your top to make your life super easy
- how to add a facing for a professional neckline
- how to sew seams and a hem
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all materials will be provided.
If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it along.
