A perfect addition to your handmade Summer wardrobe is a pair of relaxed fitting trousers or shorts that are oh so comfortable to wear! Choose from two classic styles of loose fitting, simple to construct trousers or choose to sew yourself a pair of shorts instead- ideal if you are new to trouser or short making as there are no zips or fly fronts involved! The Flint trousers also make a lovely pair of Autumn/Winter trousers in denim, twill or wool blend.
Choose from 2 gorgeous patterns :
The Megan Nielsen Flint Trousers- Wide leg cropped pants or shorts with unique crossover closure at the side seam.
The True Bias Emerson Trousers - The Emerson pattern is a pull-on crop pant or short with an elasticated back and flattering front waistband.
You will learn:
Guidance to choosing a size and making simple pattern adjustments
How to construct a simple pair of trousers or shorts
How to construct a waist band with either elastic or with buttons
How to sew tucks or pleats
What is included:

Your very own copy of your chosen sewing pattern (either PDF or printed) sent out to you prior to the course.

What you need to bring:
Please get in touch and we can advise on what you'll need to bring, depending on your pattern of choice and which version you would like to make. This will include fabric, matching thread, interfacing and any related notions such as elastic, buttons etc
It is strongly advised to purchase your fabric before the workshop so that it can be pre washed, especially if you plan on using a linen based fabric.
