This FREE two-hour class teaches adults and teenagers ages 14 and up how to ride a bicycle (or remember how to ride a bicycle). It is offered by The Bicycle Coalition of Greater in collaboration with Indego and the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP).
Staff and volunteers will teach participants how to balance, pedal, start, stop, steer, and shift gears. The class will be held at the parking lot at Front & Carpenter.
This class will use Indego bikes. Helmets will be provided and participants can keep the helmets after the class (because safety is important for all bicyclists!)
Due to COVID-19 Protocol, only registered participants can join the class (no walk-ups allowed). Additionally, participants are required to fill out this Covid-19 questionnaire. The size of this event will be capped at 10 participants*
*Height Restrictions: The bikes we use for the class are recommended for 5'2" and up. If you'd like to come out with your own bike, please let us know.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact, [email protected] or (215) 701-9313 to find out more.
