Ken Trenholm has taught over 300 kids to ride a two-wheeler using a balance-first method. The child controls the process. It very easy, fun, and stress-free. And, oh, yes, and it really works!
Two free events in one day:
Summerside
Summerside Business Commons Eco Park
(off Greenwood Drive, next to turf field)
9 am to 11 am
Charlottetown
Charlottetown Rural High School
2 pm to 4 pm
The Steps:
Coming prepared helps Ken assist as many kids as possible. However, if you struggle with any of these steps, he will help you on site:
1. Remove the pedals (but take them with you)
2. Take the training wheels off (will not need them again)
3. Adjust seat so feet are flat on the ground (child feels safer & in control)
4. Pump tires to their max (less rolling resistance = easier to move the tires)
