Come join us at Mrs Dalloway's on Saturday, January 11th at 7:00 PM for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the art of pruning from the best in the business. Whether you're a novice gardener or have a green thumb, this event is perfect for anyone looking to sharpen their pruning skills. Our expert instructors Joseph Gaglione and Ann Ralph will guide you through the process step by step, teaching you the techniques used by professionals to keep your plants healthy and thriving. There will be a variety of pruning demonstrations and plenty of time for Q & A!
Copies of Joseph's book The Art of Pruning and Ann's book Grow A Little Fruit Tree will be available for sale at the workshop.
JOSEPH GAGLIONE is a professional aesthic pruner and teacher with an eye for the beauty and essence of trees. He is the author of The Art of Pruning: How To Look At a Tree.
Backyard fruit specialist ANN RALPH introduced Berkeley Horticultural Nursery to the 'little fruit tree method' in 2001 and oversaw the fruit tree department there for ten years. Her book, Grow a Little Fruit Tree:Simple Techniques for Small Space Easy Harvest Trees is a Storey Publishing bestseller, and a perennial favorite at Mrs. Dalloways.
THIS EVENT is free but registration is requested. Registration ends at 5:30 pm on January 11th, 2025.
