About this Event
By popular demand! We're going to create a beautiful piece of art and learn fun new techniques at the same time.
I would recommend attendees be at least 12 years old, with the capacity to sit and learn together and follow directions well.
We will get together to create beautiful watercolored florals (adapted to the capacity of ANYONE--your current skill level is irrelevant here!). In the process, we'll learn about watercolor painting technique with a various types of paintbrushes, blending and intentionally bleeding paint colors, composition, fun art tips and tricks, and more!
A basic understanding of brush lettering and/or watercolor painting is recommended, but not required, and all supplies will be included (and yours to take home!).
Supplies we will use include (links are to the same/similar items we will use in class):
- Heavyweight cold-press watercolor paper (the textured stuff!)
- Watercolor paint
- Reusable paint palette
- Assorted watercolor brushes
- Water cup with water
It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait to play together!
