About this Event

Learn to paint like Claude Monet 10.00am -1pm

Is Claude Monet one of your favourite artists? Have you ever wondered how he painted his famous masterpieces?

Should you wish to learn about his painting process, and produce your own artwork in his style, then this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

You will be able to explore his painting style supervised by our professional art tutor Marina who will guide you every step of the way.

Materials required for this workshop

You will need to bring a set of oil or acrylic paints, brushes suitable for oils and acrylics, a turpentine (if you are painting with oils), a palette and a larger size canvas or canvas board.
We will be painting on tables, but if you have a tabletop or floor standing easel you are most welcome to bring these along.

Where to purchase your art materials

Depending from your budget, you can either purchase your art materials from the professional art shop Goslings in Sudbury, or you can find more affordable ones in the Works or Poundland.

About your tutor:

Marina T-Harrison has a BA Hons in Arts ( BA in Painting, Electives in Scenography, and Conservation and Restoration) and Master in Arts (MA in Scenography, Theatre Direction Pathway).

Her educational background is built on the values of the University of Arts London, where she completed her education in the arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Marina has been teaching at WSC for several years, on many art courses and workshops.

Whether you are interested to have art as a hobby and a leisure activity, or pursue a career in the arts, Marina is a strong believer that you can achieve this at any stage of your life.


Anyone who is under the age of 18 must been supervised by their parent or guardian.

Please note we run all our courses based on a minimum number of participants.

If you are no longer able to attend the class please contact the team at your earliest convenience. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the class start time are non-refundable.
