Join local artist Dani Ives (@begoodnatured) for a fun and beginner-friendly needle felting workshop that’s all about creativity, wool, and trying something new. You’ll learn Dani’s signature Painting with Wool technique—using felting needles and colorful wool to “paint” images on fabric.No experience needed—just bring your curiosity. All skill levels are welcome!
What’s included:
A full supply kit to use during class and take home: felting foam pad, two sizes of felting needles, background fabric, and plenty of wool in a variety of colors.
A relaxed introduction to the basics: how needle felting works, how to use the tools, and how to get started on your first wool painting.
Tips and demos to help you go further: how to get an image onto your fabric, how to blend colors, add texture, and create details that make your piece come to life.
Your choice of subject! You can bring an idea or photo (printed or on your phone), or use one of Dani’s patterns—no drawing skills needed.
You’ll be able to work at your own pace, and Dani will offer plenty of one-on-one guidance along the way. Whether you’re totally new or already felting, this workshop is a great way to build your skills and create something you're proud of.
