Patrick McCormick has been making jewelry for fifteen years. He has taken many classes at the Multnomah Arts Center and honed his craft in his home studio. Pat works mostly in silver and fabricates his work. You may recognize him from the CMAG Spring Show, in which he has participated for the last 12 years. Previously, Pat was a high school biology teacher for thirty-three years.
The Creative Metal Arts Guild (CMAG) is a not-for-profit organization of metal artists in and around Portland Oregon who share a common passion for learning, creation, innovation and community. CMAG holds monthly meetings, offers educational workshops at our new Makerspace in SE Portland and puts on our annual Jewelry and Metal Arts Showcase at The Gathering of the Guilds each spring. CMAG is open to any person interested in the metal arts or who wants to learn to make jewelry and invites the public to attend a free meeting to check us out.
