About this Event
In this workshop we will dive into the Japanese art of kokedama, a style of Japanese bonsai in which a plant's root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a living sculpture. First we will briefly discuss the fascinating history of kokedama, how it is related to the philosophy of wabi sabi. Then we will create our very own kokedama.
Each person attending the workshop, will create one medium-sized kokedama choosing from an assortment of plants to work with.
