Learn to Knit in January
1/11, 1/18, & 1/25; Sundays from 11am-1pm at Casting On
During class students will create a beautiful wearable cowl, all while learning how to:
-cast-on
-knit
-purl
-read a pattern
-select the right yarn
-learn about gauge and sizing
-bind off
-weave in ends
-identify and fix some mistakes
-increasing techniques
-decreasing techniques
-knitting a cable!
Cost:
The cost of the class is $72 per student
Materials to purchase before class:
-100g of yarn that is worsted weight or thicker. Recommended Malabrigo Rios in a lighter color.
-Circular knitting needles that are 16" long, and that are the appropriate size for the yarn selected. The yarn label should recommend which size to use.
