I want to help you discover the values hunting can bring to your life and guide you through the various steps required before your first hunt, what to expect during a hunt, and the process of harvesting an animal. This course will help you identify if hunting is an activity you would like to invest in and if so, how to begin that process.
You will learn:
The values hunting can bring to your life
What species you can hunt in Montana and how to hunt these various species
How to navigate Montana’s regional hunting maps
What harvesting tools are best for different species
How to navigate Montana’s hunting regulations
How to apply for tags and purchase tags
What basic items you need depending on the hunt
What to do when you harvest an animal
If you are interested in hunting and want to learn where to start, this is the class for you!
Whether you have your hunter education certificate or not, you are welcome here!
There will be plenty of time at the end to ask more detailed questions too.
