This DROP-IN CLASS is for novice and new students ages 7 and up who are interested in learning BAR apparatuses including Lyra Hoop and/or Trapeze. Lyra is a vertical, steel hoop suspended from the sky. Trapeze is the quintessential circus apparatus, connected with two ropes and one steel bar. Students will work towards mounting and hanging techniques, fluidity and creative body shapes.Students will use the Level 1 Skills Assessment to advance their techniques and skill sets. No prior experience is necessary as this course is open to both brand new beginners and students with some prior experience on BAR apparatuses.
THIS CLASS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ACROBATIC ARTS PORTION.
Wear layers like sweatpants and sweatshirts to class.
Limited to 10 participants. Great experience for Mom & Daughter or bring your best friend!
