Join the Niagara River Remedial Action Plan team, and NPCA, on July 6, for a fun and engaging program that combines a practical teaching session with an hour of supervised hands–on fishing for kids, teens and adults.Friendly instructors will explain how to use fishing equipment, share some basic tips about fish identification, and demonstrate how to fish legally, safely, and sustainably. Then, participants will fish the Upper Niagara River shoreline to put their knowledge to use!
Rods, reels, bait, and lifejackets will be provided. A fishing license is not required for this event because it is free family fishing week in Ontario.
Space is limited! There are two timeslots available:
- Morning: 10:00am-12:00pm
- Afternoon: 1:00pm-3:00pm
Once tickets are sold out, please note that walk-ins will be accepted on a first come first serve basis (spots cannot be guaranteed)
