As we close out another year of dance classes, our December classes will mix things up with Salsa and Rueda!Join us from 2nd - 16th DECEMBER 2025 and learn to dance in a fun and friendly environment.
We will retain our Salsa Fundamentals class to kick things off - perfect if you just finished our latest course and want to keep learning.
Note: The content will be adapted each week to suit the students who attend.
Instead of our Improver class, we will be running 3 weeks of Rueda (the wheel). A group dance using salsa steps - it's a whole lot of fun!
Suitable for anyone who is confident in their basic salsa steps.

Levels:
Salsa Fundamentals
- If you have never danced salsa before, or only had a taste of it, this is the best place to start.
- Cover the basic steps, learn key techniques, and understand how to dance in time to the music.
Rueda
- Utilise your existing salsa steps and technique in a group dance.
- Understand the basic Rueda calls.
Develop more complicated steps and turns.

- Includes 1 Class each week (either Level 1 or 2)
Additional Class: £2
- If you wish to do both classes on the same night, your second class is only £2 extra.

Our classes are held in the function room at The Library (formerly Pitcher & Piano).
From the main entrance, head past the bar and through the double doors at the back.
From the Bath Place entrance, head into the main bar area, turn right and right again, through the double doors.

- Follow the footpath into Bath Place in the left-hand corner of the car park, go straight through the passageway, and turn left.
- This car park is free after 6pm.
- Please ensure you don't park in the Tesco car park, as the parking restrictions are different.

Instructor Bios:
Cedric stumbled across Salsa dancing whilst at university. Having attended workshops and congresses across the UK and beyond, he has learnt from many top teachers from around the world. Teaching a variety of Latin dances since 2011, he emphasises clear, precise learning and following technique, and mixes simple spins with more complex flicks and tricks to create an engaging array of moves that flow from one to the next. In developing a keen ear for Latin music, Cedric uses this to influence his dancing style, and enjoys DJing a range of traditional and modern music to get everyone up on the dancefloor!
