This 3 part class will be held in person, on Saturdays October 19, 26 and November 9th, from 1:30-2:30pm.Choose between a market bag or tote!
Materials Included:
⁃ 375m cotton yarn in DK or worsted weight. **must be non-stretch fibre**
⁃ Size 4mm crochet hook
Optional
⁃ Locking stitch markers (nice to have)
⁃ Yarn needle (nice to have)
Basic Crochet skills we will cover:
⁃ Slip knot
⁃ Chain stitch
⁃ Triple crochet
⁃ Double half crochet
⁃ Single crochet
⁃ Working in rounds
⁃ Connecting yarn
⁃ Weaving ends
The Mesh Market Bag is an incredibly versatile and stylish accessory and you can make one for yourself and/or friends and family! The bag we are going to make is lightweight, compact when not in use, and expansive enough to carry all your goods from the market, to the beach, etc.
The class is divided into three sessions, one hour each. The first two sessions will cover how to make the main body of the bag, and the third session will go over how to make the strong handle!
This class is suitable for all levels - even if you have been struggling with the basic crochet stitch!
