Learn the Fundamentals of Emergency First Aid
Lutheran EMS and Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital 2101 E. Dubois Dr., is hosting a free education event on April 25th where you can participate and learn the fundamentals of emergency first aid.
Participants can actively engage in the four crucial processes of emergency first aid: assess, plan, execute and evaluate. This event will be held at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital on April 25, 8:30-9:30 a.m. Attendees will be divided into groups for this session to receive practical instruction.
• Introduction to the basics of CPR
• Administering Narcan: when and how to use
• How to stop a bleed in an emergency situation
• Signs of a stroke: BE FAST
• What to do if an adult or infant is choking
Attendees will also be able to renew, or receive their CPR certification for $20 (Payable by cash or check).
