Learn the Art of Flag Wings Sunday 9th February 2025
10.45-12pm - Beginner
In this workshop we will be learning the fundamentals of how to move with this silk veil prop including sequences of tricks that transition well from one to another, the theory behind planes and ways to compartmentalise what you’ve learnt. You will feel inspired to find your own pathways of moves and start to freestyle with confidence!
12.15-1.30pm - Intermediate
Expand your repertoire with advanced tricks and complex sequencing, bringing flair to your flow with dynamic moves utilising spins, footwork and levels. Get ready to level up!
1.45-3.15pm - Choreography
Join this final workshop to combine everything you’ve learned into a skillful group choreography demonstrating all aspects of performing with flag wings and a focus on stage presence. Lets have fun collaborating to create ART in motion. Karina Flow has been teaching and performing within the flow arts world for over 5 years and has gained a considerable following globally, supporting her as a full time professional performer and silk veil prop creatrix. Her mesmerising moves and innovative approach to veil flow arts is a result of her life long passion for dance, movement, self expression and creative artistry. Her goals for 2025 are to bring community together, share her knowledge & skills with hope to inspire others in finding their inner flow and the joys that come with learning to dance and perform with veil props.
