About this Event
It can be confusing to decipher which fruit trees need what type of pruning in summer. Let Fruit Works Co-operative guide you in how to identify what to cut, save and train in the summer months.
By the end of the session you'll have learned more about how to prune stone fruit trees (plums, damsons, cherries etc) and trained pip fruit trees (cordons, espaliers).
What to bring
If you have them, please bring along a sharp pair of secateurs, loppers, a pruning saw and a pair of rubber grip gardening gloves. Tools and gloves will be provided if you don’t have your own.
Participants will each receive a copy of Chloe Ward's excellent pruning guide "for real people with imperfect trees".
