The Nia Technique is a holistic fitness and wellness practice that was created in 1983. In our info session we will learn and play with the moves of Nia, Utilize our world music to encourage movement and use our Joy based philosophy to find your Magic. The Nia Technique is a body centered approach to exercise and wellness with NO jumping or jarring of the joints. All levels of Fitness are Welcome and NO Experience is necessary.

About the Teacher:
Gail Mongiello is a certified 1st Degree Nia Black Belt Instructor with over 18 years of experience and over 250 hours of intensive training. Sharing The Joy of Movement using elements of Dance Arts, Martial Arts, and Healing Arts that Nia encompasses, is a passion Gail is excited to bring to the WellCome OM Center.Gail's background in dance and fitness, combined with over 25 years of experience in fitness training has led her to an overall development of mind/body practices.

Photography During Programs
While attending our programs, visitors may be photographed by staff. Photographs become WellCome OM Center's property and may be used in promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.

Failure to register in a workshop or special event may result in the cancellation due to not enough signups. So please, register in advance so our presenters can prepare for the expected amount of people.
