Don't miss this opportunity to connect with Pam Smith with The Dallas Rose Society, Pam is a retired Horticulturalist. Her formal education includes a B.S. Floriculture from Texas A&M University and a M.S. Horticulture from Texas Tech University. Her practical experience began when she was 15 and continues to the present. Her day jobs have included being the Horticulturist for Brookhaven Country Club and the Park Landscape Manager for the City of Farmers Branch. While serving at the City of Farmers Branch, she created and curated the Rose Gardens of Farmers Branch. There unfortunately had the first bad experience with Rose Rosette and was active in the RRD research occurring across the country.
Currently she enjoys morning coffee and working in her home garden while planning her day off with Horticultural Consulting, garden clubs and rose society memberships, boards associated with national boards but her greatest joy is being a grandmother of 4.
We will also be sharing companion plants. Many of these plants are Native Plants and do well in our soil and once established require minimal watering. They can be planted along with your roses. Donna Fernandez , Rockwall County Extension Master Gardner Intern. You will not want to miss this event.
