
About this Event
This two-part, hands-on program featuring textile artist, Sabrina Rose will first introduce you to Clothing and Caretaking: learn hand-sewing techniques and eco-friendly laundering hacks. Return the next week for Collaborative Mending and Upcycling: bring a piece of clothing that needs mending, or upcycle it for a fresh lewk to work on together.
Participants are expected to commit to the duration of the program and attend both sewing sessions.
Saturday, October 11th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Part 1 - Clothing and Caretaking session.
Saturday, October 18th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Part 2 - Collaborative Mending and Upcycling session.
Registration is required for this two-part program. Registration begins September 27, 2025 at 12:30pm. Class is held in the 2nd floor eLearning Lab.
