There is a whole world of busy activity just beneath a fresh blanket of snow! We’ll explore which animals call this subnivean zone between snow and ground their winter playground, and discuss the relationship and adaptations of animals trying tosurvive our Illinois winters. If snow abounds, we’ll get outside to explore a quinzhee snow shelter.
