LEARN: BASIC ACTING

The Basic Acting Class will help actors become comfortable with appearing on-stage. It is a class designed for beginners, as well as a refresher for veteran actors. The class is open to anyone who has graduated high school.
It will meet on Wednesday October 1, October 8, October 15, and finally Thursday October 16 from 7:00-8:30. The cost is $50 ($45 for members) with all proceeds going Corn Stock. Registration will close on Sunday September 28th.
About the Instructor: Cheryl Halm
“I grew up as a CST kid, spending my summers at the tent. My parents, Leonard and Gloria Costa, were extremely involved at CST for many years and were instrumental in CST becoming a year-round operation thanks to their inspiration to build the winter theater building. I have taught this class with my father.
At DePauw University, I studied Theater (and Biology.) After graduating college, I was accepted to Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in NYC where I studied acting with Sanford Meisner. While in NYC I appeared in over 200 movies, television shows, commercials, and plays over a period of 20 years.”
