Join Ashley Sayers from the Rogers Historical Museum as she discusses Victorian mourning customs from the attire one needed to wear, to the funerals themselves. We'll also tour the Hawkins House, a middle-class Victorian brick house built on the corner of Second and Cherry Streets in Rogers, Arkansas in 1895.We'll meet at the Rogers Historical Museum (322 S. 2nd St.) in the Key Wing Classroom on October 14 at noon. Feel free to bring your own lunch; beverages and a dessert will be provided.
